Week 17: More Macros
Yes I am obsessed. Sorry if this is getting repetitive, but I am digging the macros. I shot some flowers at the in-laws' house over Easter and found a few in my own garden this week. I am off of work, so there's a lot to share due to free time. Enjoy!
Only one bug this week
Daffodil center
I have been digging up my entire side garden this week, and I found a long-dead leaf. I thought it looked cool.

Week 16: Face Your Fears
OK so we've had a lot of pretty pictures lately. This one is not so pretty, but still pretty cool at the same time. Just as a disclaimer, I hate spiders! I had to get really close to this guy on my bathroom wall to get this shot. I took a few and accidentally nudged him with my lens which sent him crawling all over.
I had to flush him or have thoughts running through my head of him crawling under my covers later that night.

Week 15: Spring has Sprung
We had such a beautiful weekend finally! With temps up to 70 degrees on Sunday and a napping toddler, I took advantage and went outside to do some gardening. I was noticing all the pretty things coming up, but still just beginnings of the flowers. There was some interesting weeds growing and these pretty "creepers" coming to life so I snapped some photos.
Here's more:
Big share this week I guess! Enjoy the spring weather!

Week 14: Golden Slumbers
Owen normally sleeps on his tummy with blankets and stuffed animals all over him. The other night, he was actually on his back so I could see all of his sweet little face. I didn't want to turn the lights up, so excuse the grainy-ness of the photo. I tried a chocolate black and white for the first time with this, but not sure if I'm loving the conversion.

Week 13: Girl's Best Friend
I don't know if anyone has tried to get a good picture of your rings, but let me tell you, it's difficult. I thought I would try today using one of the extension tubes. It was a definite exercise in focusing skills, but I tried to get the facets in the center diamond to be the most clear, and the other ones to kind of blur out.
Thanks to Mom for the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, or it probably would've been a very dirty close up!
Here's a shot of the engraving of our wedding date too. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago!
